On July 6 and 7, two qualifying rounds of the BMW Golf Cup International 2012 were held at the Pestovo Golf and Yacht Club. A total of more than 160 Russian amateur golfers registered with the Russian Golf Association and having an officially confirmed exact handicap of no higher than 28 for men and 36 for women entered the field.

The competition was held in the stableford format, taking into account the handicap, for men – in two handicap groups (from 0 to 12.0 for group A and from 12.1 to 28 for group B), for women – in a single competition. The main goal of each participant of the qualifying tournaments was to take at least 10th place in order to get to the final of the Russian stage of the competition, which took place on July 28 at the Agalarov Golf and Country Club.
The holding of the BMW Golf Cup International tournament in Russia contributed to the development of golf popularity in the country. When designing the branding of the event areas, we took into account historical and image details, as well as weather conditions. From the corporate identity to the setup of the golf course and the evening show — we worked all aspects through and organized a high-quality event for a special audience.
